1. Remember to empty your pockets!
Dad's this one is especially for you! Please remember to empty pockets of bulky items such as keys or phones. They can really stand out in a photograph.
2. Choose the Right Time of Day
I would recommend golden hour when the light is more soft and diffused over the harsh light at midday which can be uncomfortable for little ones and overly hot in summer. Into the Autumn Golden Hour moves earlier. I have a blog post all about Golden Hour which you can check out here.
3. Bring layers + Cosy blankets
Little ones may get chillier even on a warm day so always bring little extra layers & cardigans to make sure they stay toasty. We can pop little feet and hands out for some shots but the most important is a warm cosy baby.
